In primul rand vreau sa va multumesc!
Va multumesc tuturor celor care v-ati implicat in aceasta campanie alaturi de PNTCD. Va multumesc tuturor celor care nu ati renuntat la crezul crestin-democrat si ati votat PNTCD. Va multumesc tuturor celor care ati fost alaturi de noi in aceasta campanie dificila in care nu au mai contat oamenii, ci sforile trase de papusarii crescuti in vechiul, dar si in noul regim. Oameni pentru care nu conteaza democratia, votul, ci jocurile politice care ne tin in haos de atatia ani.
Privind la rezultatele votului traim cu senzatia ca nu suntem reprezentati: nici noi, ca oameni, nici tara noastra la nivel european. Lipsa de informare, jocurile de culise si nepasarea multora dintre noi au aruncat in Parlamentul European oameni care nu se vor ridica niciodata la valoarea necesara unei reprezentari serioase pentru tara noastra. Asa ajungem sa avem bufoni si papusi Barbie care sa ne reprezinte in Europa spre rusinea noastra a tuturor.
Ca om de afaceri, am crezut intotdeauna ca pragmatismul si eficienta dau masura eforturilor unor oameni. Ca presedinte de partid am invatat insa ca politica se face cu suflet si cu credinta. Prin urmare, eu vad rezultatul acestor alegeri si din alta perspectiva decit cea a procentelor finale. Campania din ultima luna este privita cu scepticism de catre analisti si media. Poate si pentru ca ei s-au obisnuit cu circul gratuit promovat de altii, in timp ce noi am dorit sa dezbatem teme importante pentru poporul roman. Noi nu am vrut sa facem un fel de avanpremiera la alegerile prezidentiale, si de aceea privesc aceasta campanie ca o perioada in care partidul a dovedit ca poate functiona si poate obtine voturile electoratului in conditiile in care persoane-etalon pentru acest partid au facut anticampanie. Scorul nostru electoral a fost obtinut de tineri, de o echipa tanara care a inteles ca acest partid nu poate muri si trebuie sa renasca pentru a duce mai departe principiile noastre.
Ni s-a spus ca vom muri ca partid. Ni s-a spus ca vom pleca acasa a doua zi. Ni s-a spus ca nu mai reprezentam pe nimeni. Pentru acesti oameni am o singura veste.
Nu am plecat. NU am murit! Nu ne-am abandonat traditia! Avem peste 70.000 de voturi pentru ca PNTCD sa-si duca misiunea politica mai departe si suntem un partid intinerit. Peste 70 de mii de oameni inca mai cred ca democratia romaneasca are o sansa prin PNTCD. Acesta nu este un capat de drum ci un bun inceput pentru o constructie solida si temeinica. De aici trebuie sa porneasca PNTCD, fara a-si uita sau nega trecutul si valorile nationale si crestin democrate. Nu va trece mult timp si Romania va avea nevoie de PNTCD. Pana atunci va trebui sa existam si sa nu abandonam principiile si valorile care ne-au unit.
